Feel the Words, Become the Words.

Why is it that when I actually have time to write something, I can never get into it? I’ve got this idea for a story, but I just can’t get the words out in a way that is readable. I’m going back to college next week and I’ve got a 1305830 pieces of homework to do, but I swear to Merlin if I don’t get this done I’m going to go crawl in a hobbit hole somewhere, staring at a blank piece of paper and sobbing uncontrollably.

Planning things is so much easier than writing them up. Gah!

Naming Characters & Children

As an author, one of my favourite things to do when planning a story is to look for good names for my characters. But I’ve created so many characters that I’ve overused all of the good names. Now, if I ever have a daughter, I won’t want to name her because she’ll just be reflected on one of my failed OCs from when I was nine.

Les Miserables!

Guess what I got for Christmas! I got two tickets to see Les Miserables in London! I’m literally so excited that it’s all I can think about.

After watching these adorable guys, Rob Houchen and Anton Zetterholm, on the Room 9 Advent Calendar (raising money for Water Aid), I can’t wait to see them as Marius and Enjolras. And Carrie Hope Fletcher as Eponine!

Being Eponine in the west end show of Les Mis is one of my dreams. That’s the entire reason I’m doing Performance Studies in college at the moment. I’ve been singing since I was five, and acting has always been fun for me. Dancing is the only thing that I really need to work on to get into musical theatre, but I am working on it.

Once Upon A Time – A Summary

Once Upon a Time poster

I am absolutely in love with ABC’s Once Upon a Time. If you haven’t seen it, then I highly recommend it because it is the best TV show that I have ever seen.

The first season starts with a twenty-eight year old orphan, Emma Swan, receiving a visit from the son, Henry, she gave up for adoption ten years ago. He leads her to a town called Storybrooke. Henry tries to explain to Emma that all of the town’s residents are fairy tale characters although they don’t know it. The problem is that Emma is a cynic.
